"In order for us each to awaken to our individual purpose, we have to let down our defenses. When we do, we become more present to our thoughts, emotions and bodies. To be aware in this way is to be empowered, to be grounded in the earth’s life force, and to be more naturally connected to one another. Once aware of the emotional and energetic realms, learning becomes embodied knowing. Moreover, an expansion takes place in our minds and hearts, enabling us to feel the connection we have always had, to what eco-psychologists call the ‘web of life’. One's true purpose is aligned with this universal support system." —Catriona O'Curry
Bob Harris, M.A.
With a background in Psychology, today I work primarily as a Coach and Consultant with my wife, Catriona, facilitating change for couples, families, and small businesses. I also facilitate on-going Men's groups and see individual clients for life coaching.
My own awakening began with a 5 day "Come Alive" workshop in the early 1980's at P.D. Seminars in B.C.. (Currently known as "The Haven".) This workshop stirred something inside that was impossible to ignore. In 1985, after 15 years in B.C., I moved to Seattle to go to graduate school. I received my Masters degree in Psychology from Antioch University in 1987. During this time I also began to study the spiritual teachings of
The RIDHWAN School or Diamond Approach, based on the life work of A. H. Almaas. I was part of an ongoing Ridhwan group from 1987 - 1994.
I practiced as a Psychotherapist and Group Facilitator in Seattle from 1987 to 2004. In 1999, I obtained a four-year diploma in Energy Healing from the Northwest School of Healing. I am a Reiki Master, an Ordained Minister and a Certified Spiritual Healer. In 2004, Catriona and I returned to B.C. where we stayed until 2008. At that point we left the Pacific Northwest to follow our hearts, which led us to the Sonoran desert in Arizona. Here in Tucson, I continue to meditate and practice yoga regularly. I love to grow vegetables and flowers, am a carpenter and enjoy doing stone work.
My journey has been an ever deepening self discovery. It has been about learning how to listen to my heart. This is the passion that I bring to my work with men and women. I am committed to coaching others to discover who they really are, to assisting them in revealing their dreams and their deepest longings. In the process, we explore the fears that block each of us from really listening to our hearts and achieving what we truly want from this precious life.
