Some background information on our services for Small businesses:

Because we are trained in Human Systems, and have much experience in working with couples who own a family business together, we have found that it is sometimes helpful to coach a couple on how best to be a united front at work, in order to maintain calm and efficiency in the workplace. We have also seen the value of providing a regular time and a safe place for the working couple to come and talk about their work challenges, in particular personnel issues, conflicts, dilemmas surrounding financial priorities, and becoming clear on a new direction when the need arrises.

There are times when a business benefits the most from "Mom and Pop" using their Consultation time to safely explore their honest feelings and thoughts together, in order to come to a clear understanding of how they would like to proceed, in leading their business to a more stable place.

We can facilitate a productive conversation about business and personnel priorities, clarifying bottom line issues, in a confidential setting.

If a business is in trouble, this may be the first approach we take with a couple, rehearsing negotiations in our office ahead of going to meetings, and reaching agreements for the sake of steering the business clear of disaster.

Once we have reduced this type of stress by establishing a sense of confidence with the couple in their roles as co-owners of their business, we can then focus together on deeper relationship issues. Once the deeper relationship issues are further explored, this work in turn can strengthen the larger human system of the family company.
